Q) What type of makeup and skincare products do you use?

A) Megan and Courtney use Napolean, Pola, Mac, Bobbi Brown and Nars in their make-up kit and Ultraceuticals as her salon skincare range. Megan and Courtney also ensure they carry products that are suitable for clients with problematic or sensitive skin.

Q) I don't usually wear makeup and desire a very natural wedding day appearance. Do I need to hire a professional makeup artist/stylist?
A) Absolutely! Both Megan and Courtney have extensive experience applying makeup specifically to look natural for photographs. If you desire a very natural, yet polished look, a professional makeup artist can give you a flawless complexion, perfectly shaped eyebrows, cheekbones and lips by applying soft, natural looking colors. Your makeup will last all day and you will look great both in person and in your wedding photographs.

Q) How long does it take to do my make-up on my wedding day?

A) As Megan and Courtney spend an extensive time with you at your trial deciding on the perfect look for your special day, they will only require 45 minutes per person to complete your desired look.

Q) How long will my makeup last?

A) Megan and Courtney know the importance of long-lasting makeup. They use a variety of professional products and techniques to keep your makeup looking fresh for hours and constantly receives compliments from her clients that their makeup stayed looking natural and flawless for their entire event.

Q) What happens if I have an extra person who wants to be included that was not initially in the contracted agreement?

A) This happens frequently. Others see Megan and Courtney’s beautiful work and then decide that they want to look that beautiful as well! Should this occur, they would make every effort to accommodate the request provided that this does not interfere with the bride's schedule or with another client's service or event. The best advice is to contract enough time when you initially make your booking for a makeup artist.

Q) How many months in advance do I need to reserve your services for my wedding date and when should I do my trial wedding make-up?

A) All wedding dates are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. Certain dates and times will fill quickly. MY Beauty recommends that you contract with them to retain their services as soon as you confirm both the date and hours of your wedding. As far as the pre-wedding trial consultation, the earlier you schedule it, the better, so they can effectively help you to define your makeup needs. However some clients choose to leave it till closer to their day. It's completely up to you!

Q) I have a large wedding party. In addition to myself, I have 7 bridesmaids who all want makeup done.
A) MY Beauty specialises in on-location work and as a professional they are trained to work quickly and efficiently - so their clients are ALWAYS ready on time. It may just mean it will be an early morning start!
